AUTO TUNE transforms a road sign into an anthem about autonomy, control, and artificial intelligence. Over a two-minute looping sequence of hand-drawn, low-resolution animations, phrases such as “DON’T STOP,” “STAY AWARE,” and “GET RIGHT” blur the rhythms of traffic directions, motivational slogans, and AI-generated prompts. The work can be adapted to run on any programmable LED dot matrix road sign.
